FUN PLANNERS: TEXAS HOLD’EM TOURNAMENT RULES

¨       No Limit Texas Hold’em: IE you can raise as much as you want as many times as possible
¨       Raises must be in the same increments as the big blind.  Once surpassed, in increments of previous raise or higher
¨       Tables will be consolidated to keep relatively even number of players at each table.  What table you are sent to will be the luck of the draw.
¨       When a new level is announced, if blinds have already been posted by player, blinds increase after next hand
¨       It is the PLAYERS duty to protect his/her hand (i.e.: placing chips on cards) If a hand is inadvertently mucked, the player’s cards can not be retrieved.
¨       No String Bets: all bets must be called out in advance and then placed in the pot or done in one motion.
¨       Only one person may play a hand.
¨       Players must keep cards in full view over the table
¨       Specific disputes shall be resolved according to the “Robert’s Rules of Poker” The Pit boss’s say is the final word on any dispute.
¨       Check-raising IS Permitted
¨       Verbal Statements denote your action and are binding
¨       Cards speak.  Dealer may assist in reading cards, but if a player mucks his hand without realizing it is the winner, it may not be pulled out of the muck.
